Chess Open of Nice (French Riviera) took place in the enchanting 4 stars
Grand Hotel Aston, from August 1 to August 6. |
It was a very popular chess tournament with 6.500 Euros of prizes (1.600 for 1st). Players enjoy the beach, go sightseeing in the oldest part of the city, 5mn walking from tournament. That's the reason why most of the rounds start at 5 p.m.
