From June 10 till June 15 of 2004 – the year which FIDE had officially declared the memorial year of Tigran Vartanovich Petrosian, the famous grand master, the world champion in chess - an international match in chess between the
T. Petrosian’s Team the World Team will take place in Moscow. The world best grand masters will pay tribute to the outstanding chess player.

The international match of such a high level devoted to Tigran Petrosian is carried out for the first time during the last decade in Moscow. Its organizers - the International Chess Federation, the Cigar Clan magazine and the Best Agro Company - do not doubt that the chess tournament will attract a great interest of the audience because this grandiose event has not only a sport but also a social and political character.
