Peter Leko wins the UAE Grand Prix in sudden death

Official Site reports: Deciding not to be a gentlemen anymore, Peter Leko from Hungary won the UAE Grand Prix in sudden death yesterday playing against his Russian opponent, Alexander Grischuk.
The final that started at 12 midday was extended from two games and to two tiebreakers into a third and final sudden death tie breaker where players not only play against each other but also against the clock.
In fact, it was the "ticking" factor that decided Leko's win as he managed to spare two seconds on his clock at the final move while Grischuk was automatically disqualified as he ran out of time.
