Sparkassen Chess Meeting Dortmund 06.07-21.07.2002

World Championship Candidates’ Tournament at the Dortmund Sparkassen Chess Meeting 2002 will be held in Dortmund between the 6th & 21st of July 2002. Dortmund is one of the traditional chess strongholds in the world and it is celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The Federal Chancellor, Dr Gerhard Schroeder, will be the patron of this top-level event.
