Four rapid games with 15 minutes per player per game plus a simul of Alexei Shirov included an event in Bergen of Norway on 9th February 2001. 
The match ended 2.5-1.5 for Shirov.
The two players have formerly played eights games, including a match in 1992 won 3-1 by Shirov. 
After these games Shirov holds a 4½-3½ advantage over Agdestein.
