World Micro-Computer Chess Championships

The World Micro-Computer Chess Championships took place in London as part of the Mind Sports Olympiad. The event took place August 21st-25th 2000. The winning programmer, was Stefan Meyer-Kahlen and his program Shredder which finished half a point clear of Frans Morsch’s program Fritz.  There was plenty of internet coverage of the event.
